This is how it works,

In a nutshell, we match the requirements of our customers with the abilities of our member employees. Individuals must be living with a mental illness in order to be considered for member employment with us. After screening, assessment and a short interview by our staff (over the phone or during an on-site visit), our member employees are matched with the desired meaningful work assignments for which they are best suited. A fee, for the customer, will be determined, and member employees will then be assigned to work on the project. Depending on the nature of the work assignment, Sscope member employees may work with a Team Lead support worker on a one-on-one basis, or within an assigned group of member employees.

Important to note

Shifts usually run for a full morning, or a full afternoon. Members are paid on the first and third Fridays of each month. Pay stubs are issued at that time also. If necessary, declaration of wages with Provincial EIA is the responsibility of each member employee.
