Split Crooked, B-Side Apostles, Home Street Band and more this Friday Feb. 22 at SSCOPE

Join us at SSCOPE, 1466 Arlington St, this Friday after 6:00 pm and catch some great early evening music at our monthly Live Fridays event (every fourth Friday) as we reach out to the community and elevate the discussion about mental health.  Meet our employees, talk with staff, chat informally with our musicians.  Enjoy!

Split Crooked, catch them at 7:00 pm for a lively uptemp show of indie rock

It’s free by donation at the door, with all our performers donating their valuable time to support SSCOPE and our work with mental health.

View the Poster HERE and please tell your friends and family.  The Treasures Thrift Store stage and room is a great coffeehouse atmosphere to play in with wonderful sound…or so our performers tell us.

Catch Kathryn & Wayne at 6:15pm (note the earlier start from poster), Split Crooked at 7:00 pm, The B-Side Apostles (Larry Updike and Greg Glatz) at 8:00 pm and The Home Street Band with Marv Thiessen at 9:00 pm

Businesses and organizations, are encouraged to talk with us about sponsoring a Live Friday’s night for their staff and guests and supporting mental health at the same time.

Our employee members and the community responded enthusiastically to our August 19 opening of Treasures by SSCOPE and the official ribbon of SSCOPE’s new facility at 1466 Arlington St.

Donations for Treasures started to flow in on Friday and we are very grateful.  We accept donation from  8:00 am to 4:00 pm Monday to Friday, or by special arrangement by calling 987-6300

We particularly want to thank two of our current employee members:  Elton Plett who performed for us after the ceremony and Garry Yanyu, who handled all the cooking for many hours.  Elton does some great music and Garry is preparing to study to be a chef, and we are grateful to have two people with excellent skills assisting us.

We also want to thank Rona at Kenaston Boulevard for loaning us a commercial grade BBQ and Sobeys at Burrows and Keewatin for donating soft drinks to SSCOPE employees and the community for the day.
