SSCOPE is pleased to announce that Bev. D, who was a regular Retail Staff Person in our Treasures Thrift Store at 1466 Arlington, since late summer 2012, has been hired to a full time supervisory position at Dollar Tree. Executive Director, Bob Rempel said that Bev’s move forward is a good example of SSCOPE’s new program of utilizing an on staff Employment Counsellor and Job Placement Facilitator (Madelyne Ellis), and our efforts to creating a development and progression plan for each new and current employee member. He thanked the WRHA and Susan Chipperfield of Mental Health programs in particular for their support for the 2012-13 pilot project to place an Employment Counsellor on SSCOPE’s staff
